Claim-Free Discount: Offers a 5% annual discount for being without a claim for a three year anniversary period.

Multi-Policy Discount - Option 1: Offers a 5% annual discount for home and/or farm policy, 5% annual discount for your personal or farm liability and a 10% annual discount on your automobile insurance when all three policies are insured with Howard County Mutual and IMT.

Multi-Policy Discount - Option 2: Offers a 5% annual property discount with HCM when the agent has two additional policies written for the insured within their agency. Agency must have two of the following policies: Auto, Liability or Crop. Submit these policy numbers with reviews or new applications. NOTE: Discount would only apply to HCM policy.

New Home Credit: Offers a 10% annual discount for a home that is less than 20 years old. The 10% discount is reduced annually by 2% after the home reaches the 15 year old limit.

*These discounts can be applied to the following Policy Types:

Security Policy: Used for owner-occupied dwellings in town or on farms. Minimum requirement for dwelling coverage is $50,000 and includes contents coverage. May also include service buildings, farm personal property, etc.

Suburbanite Policy: Used for owner-occupied dwellings on hobby farms of 70 acres or less that are owner-operated. Minimum requirement for dwelling coverage is $50,000 and includes contents coverage. May also include service buildings, farm personal property, etc.

Selector Policy: Used for locations that do not qualify for the Farm Security or the Suburbanite policy. Examples would be dwellings with less than $50,000 coverage, farm personal property policies, mobile homes, rental dwellings, etc.
